Dial thermometer for measuring the temperature of liquids, gases and solids. The temperature measurement is made by the measuring head at the end of the capillary tube. The measurement principle is based on the expansion of the liquid placed in the capillary tube, which under the influence of temperature changes changes its volume and causes the deflection of the pointer against the background of the thermometer dial with the temperature scale.
