The SST-2 controller is designed for comprehensive regulation of the tobacco drying process. It is equipped with two temperature measurement inputs and two control outputs - relays.

The use of the controller allows to achieve repeatable quality of dried tobacco. Based on the temperatures from the dry and wet bulb (psychometer), it allows you to independently control the heating device (gas or oil furnace) and the damper actuator (steam release - drying).
Controlling the operation of the dryer is divided into three stages:
I. Heating
During which the controller regulates only the operation of the heating device (furnace) - it heats the chamber to the initial temperature and proceeds to the next step
II. Drying
During this stage, the operation of the furnace and the damper is controlled (air drying by opening/closing the damper) depending on two temperature values: dry and wet bulb.
At this stage, we also set the Temperature accretion/Increase per hour. The set temperature increases spontaneously over time.
The slow increase in temperature has a great influence on the quality of the dried material.
III. Support
At this stage, the SST-2 controller regulates the operation of the furnace and the flap to maintain the set temperature values for the dry and wet bulb in the chamber.
Values that can be set by the user:
1. initial temperature - value of the temperature setting in the heating stage, upon reaching which the regulator switches to the drying stage.
2. temperature increase per hour - value with which the temperature setting value is increased
3. dry final temperature - temperature value controlling the furnace in stage III (maintenance)
4. wet final temperature - temperature value controlling the damper actuator in stage III (sustaining)
The device can be used for:
- controlling the operation of the tobacco dryer
- maintaining a high humidity value (in places where traditional hygrostats fail by compensating for water vapor)
- as a psychometric/moisture measure

An actuator with a spring (with an automatic return) for opening the 230V~ damper (the most common version) - after removing the voltage from the actuator terminals, the damper closes by itself.
The furnace can be controlled depending on the connection: voltage or voltage-free NO contact.

The controller controls the closing and opening of the hatch. This version allows you to use a cheap actuator for entrance gates.
