The thermostat protects against damage due to freezing of heaters, filters and fans. The measuring element is a 2 or 6-meter capillary.

Typical applications

• Fan stop
• Closing the external air dampers
• Opening the heater valve to 100%
• Starting the heater pump
• Turn off the chiller (condenser) and humidifier
• Activation of the acousto-optical alarm

The contact of the antifreeze protection thermostat is switched when the temperature measured by the capillary drops below the value set with the knob. When the temperature rises above this value, the contact will automatically return to its initial position.

The entire length of the capillary is filled with gas, which under the influence of temperature changes its volume, causing the mechanism that changes the position of the working contact to operate. The capillary responds to temperature along its entire length.
